My story will resonate with a lot of women. I lived a fast-paced life in my 20’s and burnt the candle at both ends. My lifestyle choices back then included a lot of alcohol, coffee, sugar fixes, high stress, high adrenaline, unhealthy food, emotional eating, late nights and poor sleep.


I worked for 2 of the leading FinTech companies globally, Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters where I managed multi-million dollar accounts, and was a high-achieving successful salesperson. At the time, all that mattered was hitting the sales numbers on the board and getting the next promotion. I pushed myself harder to succeed and I neglected all my boundaries because I prioritised everything else above myself and my health.

As a result, my relationships suffered, my sleep suffered, and I was dragging my heels just to get into work. I had a life that looked like a dream on the outside, I was earning a great salary, I had the sales title, I worked for a big American company and I was performing really well, but on the inside I was crying for help.

 

and then it happened…

 

I was sitting in the back of a taxi in Singapore going to my next client meeting and I said “That’s It, I’m Done”, I’m worth more than this, my body is worth more than this and so I took my health into my hands and quit my job in the corporate rat race, ended an unhealthy relationship and took back control of my life.

In 2018, after nearly a decade in the Financial Services industry, I made a life-changing decision to leave my career in sales to pursue my passion in health & nutrition, something I had wanted to do for years but the pressures to succeed in the corporate world never allowed this. I was scared to let go of the big paycheck, the security and the life that I was so familiar with, even though it was hurting me.

Living a fast-paced lifestyle led to years of health struggles where I experienced high stress, exhaustion, mood swings, anxiety, digestive discomfort (IBS), bloating, hormonal imbalances, sleep struggles, weight gain and emotional cravings.

At the age of 30, I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and an autoimmune disease, Hashimotos. I was put on medication for 2 years but my symptoms persisted. It wasn’t until I cleaned up my diet, let go of my erratic habits and self-sabotage patterns, lowered the stress, shifted my mindset, improved my sleep and created healthier boundaries that I finally experienced the healing my body craved.

Now I’m here to help you do the same.

Fast forward to where I am now, a Certified Health & Nutrition Coach with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I run a successful online health coaching practice to empower women like you to take back control of your health through 1-1 Coaching, Women’s Health Retreats and Corporate Wellness workshops.

I no longer feel exhausted and sluggish and I’m not spending hours obsessing about food and wishing my body was a size or two smaller and comparing myself to other women around me. I feel lighter, fitter, more energised and connected and confident in my body, my sleep is much better (with the occasional slip up), and my stress levels are much lower. I’ve built a successful business, amazing relationships and I experience life with less struggle and more ease.
